my car is on the toyota recall list. normally you don’t use anything on a recall list but here i am driving my car! i feel a bit unsafe. on toyota.com/recall it states that toyota is starting to send out letters to owners involved in the recall to schedule an appointment with the dealer. the resell value of my car took a huge dive. i did factor in resell value when i bought my car, and so i am a bit disheartened about all this.
yesterday had an interesting event happen with a guy. we were suppose to meet at a starbucks and i was early so i stopped by a nearby shop (walking distance) where my friend worked. so happen it was her birthday and she was about to go on break. she thought it was cosmic that i was there! while i was with her the guy calls me and tells me that he is running late because of traffic. i tell him no problem, i am nearby with a friend and to call me when he gets to the starbucks. we were suppose to meet at 5pm and at 5:10pm he calls but i didn’t hear my phone ring. 6 minutes later i notice the missed call and call him and he tells me he already left because he didn’t see me and i didn’t answer my phone. he said he thought i left, and that he was in 30 minute parking. how lame is that? it’s not like i was out of reach for even 10 minutes, and he was way within his 30 minute parking limit. this guy asked me out on a date, and on friday emailed me asking if we were still on, and so he was a big waste of my time. sigh. some guys need a freakin’ clue!
it’s super bowl sunday. i slept through the first half. missed carrie underwood, will have to youtube the performance in order to see what she did with the anthem. “so small” by carrie underwood is such an awesome song.
