sometimes i ask people about the weather where they are living and i am sincerely interested in knowing about the weather for one reason or another. some people think that if you talk about the weather you have nothing else to talk about, making you a boring person.
when i was at ut austin i was into the weather because i needed to know if i should haul an umbrella around campus or not. i remember one time sharing my umbrella with a random guy on campus. fond memories. but yeah, i always tried to be prepared.
on twitter i started following the local weatherman of the station i normally watch for local news (wfaa). i get notifications all through the day about the current weather and upcoming weather. tonight another local man (ron jackson on fox4) started following me, but i think it will be a bit much to follow two weathermen on twitter.
