been a busy few weeks. i am falling more and more in love with my nikon d700. i did the graduation photos for pre-k and kindergarten at school because the guy they had flaked out. it was a huge batch of pictures to process, but thanks to lightroom it was manageable. this project resulted in a senior graduation shoot.
next year i will be teaching the esl kindergarten class. i have to study for my esl exam, but i am feeling unmotivated to do so. i registered to take the test on the 11th of june, still have a couple weeks to get my act together. but i feel confident i can pass it. only three more days of class left. it’s bittersweet. i am going to miss my 2nd graders. going to make the most of the last three days and do some fun educational things with my kids. most classes are watching movies all day, but i told my kids that they are better off learning.
i’ve been selected to be a volunteer columnist for the dallas morning news’ voices section. they were looking for teachers and students. it seems like a really great opportunity. will write more about it when i know more.
today i went to a friend’s afternoon pool bridal shower. this is her little guy daniel.
