perfect your craft

as a photographer i am always trying to improve my craft. i am self taught, and so i am reaching out for bits of information through books, instructional videos, blogs, and wherever else i can get it. in the past few months i have grown so much as a photographer. i have gone from only really shooting in aperture-priority mode to being comfortable in shooting in manual. i gave my first dslr to my mom and the other week she wanted some tips on using the cam, and i was actually able to explain a ton of things to her. the title of this post is called “perfect your craft” and in no way am i saying that i have perfected photography, SO NOT saying that, what i am saying is to work on your craft. whatever it is.

be hungry for knowledge.

i have spent the weekend attending the creative live online photography workshop featuring jasmine star and learned a ton! so yeah, if anybody want to know how i mostly spent my weekend…there you go! the workshop was time consuming but so well worth it.

seek out things that move you closer to being the person/artist you want to be.
