yesterday at work i got the invitation to teach again next year! state exam scores are yet to come back and i hope they are good, but i think i am successfully finishing up my first year of teaching!

yep, thought i would broadcast that.
took monday off work. using up my last personal day. no plans for the day, come what may on that front.
been in a reading mood. this past week finished up maya angelou’s “letter to my daughter” which was good. some interesting tales. i signed up for goodreads.com but i think it would be impossible to document all the books i’ve read in my lifetime, but i am going to try to build up my list the best i can. goodreads.com/gloriamarie.
went to a bbq/party last night at a friend’s. was really tired but i thought i would go socialize…
a guy i was hanging out with at the beginning of the year was also invited to the party, my friend asked if it would be okay. no problem. he didn’t show anyway. but it really would had been no problem…for me. however, at the party there was this other guy i had a double date with once with my friend and her boyfriend. in early spring. we were suppose to make may plans, but i hadn’t heard from him. on my drive home he sends a text. i reply, but then i am yet to get a reply. ok, whatever. while i was leaving the party this guy gives me his number and tells me that my smile is f****** beautiful. needless to say, i’m not calling this dude. then there was this guy that i was talking to but he was with his girlfriend, and i wanted to talk to him more but i didn’t want his girlfriend thinking anything.
at the end of the day i am single.
off to go paint my nails!
