and it feels awesome! i got a cat 6 cable because the wifi here at the house wasn’t reaching to my computer, and it had been problematic for a while. going in and out for far too long. i now feel like i am zooming! :)
i am sick with a cold. already. a lot of my kids are sick in my classroom. good thing tomorrow is labor day, i get to rest some. however, i have a ton of grading to do! i got to some how figure out the best method of assessment and grading. right now i feel like i am working overtime without pay when i bring stuff home to grade.
graduate application season is coming up. got to figure out what i am going to do. i am tired of talking about grad school. i just want to be in a program already. but where and what? it’s between smu entrepreneur program or going back to austin and ut’s lbj school of public affairs.
i believe teaching is important, and i enjoy it, but i have so much more to offer to the world than teaching so i don’t want to get my graduate degree in education. i feel like if i continue my path of teaching that 30 years from now i would have a good retirement but i would look back and say that i took the easy comfortable route with my career.
but woohoo! i have a stable internet connection!
