i have have been spending most of my summer dealing with blogging stuff. i’ve sort of neglected my photography. got to get out and shoot sometime soon and post over at luvfoto.com.
redcarpet.onsugar.com is my latest blogging project. onsuguar lets you use getty images, which makes for really rich content. that blog is all for fun!
after the crash of amilliondifferentthings.com a couple weeks back i am slowly recovering that site. so sad, though. i lost over 20,000 posts. and content is king when it comes to search engines optimization (seo). probably like 90% of the website structure is back. i have the database for the entries but i don’t know if i will be able to restore it. it was becoming too time consuming to figure it out how to restore the files, because my host wouldn’t let me upload such a big database. venturing into how to break up the database would had probably drowned me.
good came out of the crash of AMDT, though. it made me realize that i should create a blogging network. i created bestever! blogs. not much yet, but it’ll grow. i’ve been wanting to do this for a while. i also learned that you should backup early and often!
i added a new category to this blog called blogging for dolalrs ;) and i’ll file stuff related to blogging in the category.
