WHAT I USE
ay, gear talk. some people care to know so here you go: i am a nikon girl for the most part. i started off with a nikon d70s that was great, but then got a nikon d700 which i absolutely love! i use a 24-85mm 2.8 lens (great versatile lens) and a 50mm 1.8 lens. i have soft boxes, a nikon speedlight sb 600, but most importantly i use natural light! there is nothing like it.
starting off i don’t advise spending tons of money on photography gear because you can get awesome pictures with a simple dslr. i love my 50mm 1.8 lens and it cost only a little over a $100 bucks. learn to shoot with whatever you have. over on my tumblr account at randomactsofphotography.com i use my iphone, and it’s photography nonetheless.
