this morning i got an eye exam. had been putting it off for a few months. for the most part i wear contacts, but then sometimes my eye get irritated and i switch to glasses. i am blind in my right eye, and i just wear one contact. but the doctor said something that i hadn’t given thought to. he suggested that i wear glasses in order to protect my one good eye. like what if i get poked in my left eye resulting in blindness in that eye…i would be devastated! but it’s a “what if” scenario and i think of what are the actual chances of that happening, and debate if i should actually take his advice and wear glasses all the time or just continue wearing contacts?
