my desk is messy with papers, clippings, quotes, sticky notes of random bits and pieces. for example, song lyrics, names of artist, business ideas, etc. been thinking about converting to note cards and eliminate sticky notes and bits of pieces of papers.

the professor of my last real estate class said that he recently burned hundreds of note cards that he had created when he was a real estate agent. he acted as if it was a really tall stack that he had.

digitally i have been using window notepads, i have tons of them with ideas, my lyrics, and stuff i’ve found interesting. however, i just have them all in a folder, they are not really organized. but recently i’ve started to use google notebooks. you can create notebooks, and then entries within the notebooks. there is an awesome iphone app called gnotes that links to your online notes and it’s awesome. i can create on the go and access them on my computer at any time, my notes are synced.

note cards are archaic but i’m going to give them a try, i like writing stuff down. soon pen and paper will be a lost form.

i clip stuff from the newspaper as well sometimes so i need to figure out a system for my newspaper clippings.

i sound like a crazy person.
