hi, i am gloria marie and welcome to my blog. i am a writer, photographer, teacher, and publisher in the dallas, tx. area.
the purpose of my blog is to speak a positive word into the lives of all those who somehow end up here! i want to help you do incredible things with your life! i don’t have it all figured out, but i do know that we are all capable of “entrepreneuring” all aspects of life. anything is possible with God! when i am not busy doing all the things i do i try to take in as many sunsets (and cupcakes!) as possible.

creativebluebird.com is a media + publishing company i started in 2009. i publish books & blogs. as a publisher i produce niche content for specific audiences.
photography is a huge part of who i am. i love capturing the world around me. it seems like everyone is a photographer nowadays, but when it comes to my photography i just do me. view my portfolio at gloriamariephotography.com. there are so many beautiful things in the world to photograph.
during the day i teach. i am a certified elementary/esl teacher and i teach kindergarten/esl at an inner city school in dallas, tx. love it! the funny thing is…mrs. adams, my kindergarten teacher, did not promote me to 1st grade. i failed kindergarten. i received all n’s for my language arts skills and class participation. n standing for needs improvement. but things turned out okay for me.
my background
i graduated from the university of texas at austin (hook’em longhorns!) with a major in sociology, minor philosophy. when i was in college i was interested in social stratification.
personally, i was born in germany because my dad was in the u.s. military. an 80′s baby, born august 7th, 1981. i come from a big family, 5 siblings. and my family is my world. i was homeschooled for the most part. growing up i went to church 3 times a week, and i consider that as one of the greatest gifts my parents gave to me. i love me some Jesus.
