mrs. adams, my kindergarten teacher, did not promote me to 1st grade. i received all n’s for my language arts skills and class participation. n standing for needs improvement. but things turned out okay for me, i ended up graduating from the university of texas at austin (hook’em longhorns!) with a major in sociology, minor philosophy. currently i teach kindergarten/esl at an urban school in dallas, tx.
creativebluebird.com is a launchpad for all my little online projects. i’ve been playing around online almost half of my life. blogging + creating web content and web sites. i go back, back in the days when aol was the internet. haha. heartdallas.com is one of my main projects i am working on.
luvfoto.com is my photography business. check out my photography portfolio and blog. i have a nikon d700 that i call my baby! there are so many beautiful things in the world to photograph.
i carry a little map of the world that i tore out of a national geographic magazine in my wallet. the world is this huge place that is a sacred concept, and i feel like it’s my duty to make sure i am tuned in to my humanity. my goal in life is to be a reflection of God’s love and to live my life in his will, and encourage people to live and love. and…to create as many things as i can!
